http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=533262 Summary: Copy to file broken in mcedit Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Factory Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: pmladek@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de CC: nadvornik@novell.com Found By: Development "Copy to file" function does not work in mcedit. I see this in openSUSE-11.2-milestone2 with new test user. Steps to reproduce: 1. open any text file in mcedit 2. press [F3], select a text 3. press [F9], select "File/Copy to File" 4. press the "OK" button Result: Error message: "Cannot save file" Expected result: it should save the selected text into the default file "~/.mc/cedit/cooledit.clip" Observation: I do not see the ~/.mc directory. It seems that it is not automatically created. I am able to save the selected text into another file. I think that the problem is the missing direcotry ~/.mc/cedit/. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
