Thanks! And what exactly does not work? Or in another words: what do you expect that should happen? As far as I see in the attachment all seems to work fine. The eth0 (ifcfg-eth0) interface is configured with the static IP 192.168.200.20/24 and gets started (boot.msg): Setting up (localfs) network interfaces: .. eth1 device: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL-8029(AS) eth1 IP address: 192.168.200.20/24 eth1 done Setting up service (localfs) network . . . . . . . . . .done You should be able to ping all addresses in this network, e.g. ping 192.168.200.1. Also by name if the names for the addresses are defined in /etc/hosts. The wlan0 (ifcfg-wlan0) interface is configured with dhcp4 and gets also started: Setting up (remotefs) network interfaces: wlan0 name: WG111 WiFi (v2) wlan0 warning: WPA configured but may be unsupported wlan0 warning: by this device wlan0 starting wpa_supplicant wlan0 Starting DHCP4 client. . . . . . wlan0 IP address: 192.168.2.100/24 wlan0 doneSetting up service (remotefs) network . . . . . . . . . .done it gets the 192.168.2.100/24 IP address and the dhcpcd client sets the IP address and a default route: Jul 31 16:41:33 optikwolf dhcpcd[3713]: wlan0: adding IP address 192.168.2.100/24 Jul 31 16:41:33 optikwolf dhcpcd[3713]: wlan0: adding default route via 192.168.2.1 metric 0 so you should be able to access any another addresses (the internet). Further, the nameserver is added to /etc/resolv.conf: search optik-wolf.internal Speedport_W_700V nameserver 192.168.2.1 so you are able to use names, e.g. bugzilla.novell.com. Note, that the optik-wolf.internal search list is from the static setting in /etc/sysconfig/network/config: NETCONFIG_DNS_STATIC_SEARCHLIST="optik-wolf.internal" This is not a problem, it just causes that the system will try to resolve not full-qualified names without a "." (e.g. www) as "www.optik-wolf.internal" and then "www.Speedport_W_700V". Similar things happens with NetworkManager, except that it ignores the eth1 interface, because it is configured as dhcpv4 there, but no dhcp server is available in the network it is connected to: Jun 19 18:20:12 optikwolf NetworkManager: <info> Activation (wlan0) Stage 3 of 5 (IP Configure Start) complete.
