Maybe the removal is to get rid of the variables HOTPLUG_MOUNT_FSTAB and
HOTPLUG_CHECK_FILESYSTEMS mentioned in
/usr/share/doc/packages/sysconfig/README.storage. In that case do not remove
the complete file. And update
the README.
