Using the latest Broadcom binary blob with openSUSE 11.2 M4 causes the system
to freeze. There is no panic nor log of panic. Input devices such as keyboard
and mouse are unresponsive. Compiling the driver by hand or using a rpm from
the repository has the same outcome, system freeze.

Hardware:

Dell Latitude D820 with Dell Wireless 1490 Dual Band WLAN Mini-card.
