http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=516535 Summary: freeradius-server fails to start due to bogus config file Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Network AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: afm@othello.ch QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X 10_5_7; de-de) AppleWebKit/530.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.1 Safari/530.18 The configuration file provided with freeradius-server is bogus, which leads to the server not starting. This is very bad because the documentation in /usr/share/doc/packages/freeradius-server/README promises that the default configuration file works, and that one should start with the default configuration file and extend it until the server works as intended. In particular, the configuration refers to /etc/raddb/certs/server.pem, which does not exist. Reproducible: Always Expected Results: The configuration file should allow for the radius server to start up under all circumstances. More sophisticated configurations can be added as separate configuration files, but not as the default. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
