We've also a similar problem when using Sun Grid Engine 62u2_1
on SLES11 on some hosts. Stack trace showed us that the
problem occurs when calling the initgroups() glibc method.
glibc is calling libnls.so which results in an invalid free().
Sun Grid Engine is redefining malloc (using jemalloc like Mozilla Firefox).
It should be allowed to redefine malloc, or?
Setting the environment variable MALLOC_CHECK_ to 0 will result
in running code. This could also help the bash people from
above.
