Sample code to reproduce the bug

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.11)
Gecko/2009060215 Firefox/3.0.11 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)

Create a sample gtk file chooser dialog with

gtk_file_chooser_dialog_new("Hello", windowPtr,
GTK_FILE_CHOOSER_ACTION_SELECT_FOLDER,
GTK_STOCK_CANCEL,
GTK_RESPONSE_CANCEL,
GTK_STOCK_OPEN, GTK_RESPONSE_ACCEPT,
NULL);

The file dialog opens displaying the contents of the Desktop folder. But
clicking "Open" does not close the dialog. We have to move to some other folder
and back or click on the link named "Desktop" in the left panel before clicking
"Open" for the dialog to close.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Compile sample gtk application, source code attached.
2. Press Ctrl + a to launch a gtk file dialog with Desktop as the default
folder.
3. Try to select it by clicking open.
Actual Results:
Dialog should close with Desktop as the selected folder

Expected Results:
No change the dialog does not close.
