http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=513874 Summary: dbus-policy-missing-allow rpmlint check is incorrect Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE.org Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: BuildService AssignedTo: lnussel@novell.com ReportedBy: tambet@novell.com QAContact: adrian@novell.com Found By: --- It requires an "allow" tag with "send_destination" attribute. This is usually what people want I guess, but this shouldn't produce a fatal build error. For example, NetworkManager uses out of process tools (dhclient, pppd, ...) which report their information back over DBus by using signals. They don't implement any DBus methods. In a mail, you say "better set the badness to zero instead of ignoring the check".
