http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=513022 Summary: xend hangs after domU shutdown Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: i586 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.1 Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: Xen AssignedTo: jdouglas@novell.com ReportedBy: dmuhamedagic@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- After the last update from xen-tools-3.3.1_18494_03-1.8 to xen-tools-3.3.1_18546_16-0.1.1 and kernel upgrade from kernel-xen-2.6.27.21-0.1.2 to kernel-xen-2.6.27.23-0.1.1, xend gets into a busy idle loop using 100% CPU. It happens every time on xm shutdown or xm destroy. The only way to stop xend is to use kill -9. Doing rcxend stop always prints: RTNETLINK answers: File exists Can't recall if that was the case before. After thorough cleanup, i.e. removing all processes and shutting down xenbr0, it is possible to start xend again. However, then one can't start a domU. So far, the only way to deal with it was to reboot dom0. Don't see anything interesting in the logs. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
