http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=509727 Summary: No default keyring is created, nor is one automatically unlocked Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Factory Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: gnomeuser@gmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; da-DK; rv:1.9.1b4) Gecko/20090426 SUSE/3.5b4-2.1 Firefox/3.5b4 It's rather bothersome to have to manually unlock the keyring on every login. Other distributions such as Fedora and Ubuntu get around this by creating a default keyring automatically on first login and unlocking it when the user logs in. It would be nice if openSUSE would provide the same functionality Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. create fresh install 2. login 3. add wifi connection to password protected network 4. create default keyring and password 5. logout 6. log in Actual Results: You are now asked to unlock the keyring as the first thing upon login. Expected Results: steps 3 and 4 shouldn't be required, additionally upon log in the default keyring should be automatically unlocked. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
