Note: we got a local net behind a firewall, no local firewalls up at now
(easier for testing)
SO MYServer is on broadcast.
On the server there is in cupsd.conf:
BrowsePort 631
Listen localhost:631
Listen /var/run/cups/cups.sock
# Enable printer sharing and shared printers.
# Browsing On
Browsing Yes
BrowseOrder allow,deny
# BrowseAllow @LOCAL
BrowseAllow from all
BrowseInterval 10
BrowseAddress @LOCAL
# lsof -ni | grep cu
cupsd 7244 root 1u IPv4 37034 0t0 TCP *:ipp (LISTEN)
cupsd 7244 root 39u IPv4 37040 0t0 UDP *:ipp
I can set this server as master, the other as client (client.conf)
I cannot get the local printer AND the server above at the same time.
Is this a cups "feature"?

I did the setup just as you told in #7, but I see ONLY THE LOCAL QUEUE.
