http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=499161 Summary: Can't connect to new ssl encrypted pages anymore Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Firefox AssignedTo: bnc-team-mozilla@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: chuller@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Component Test Description: In the pst when connecting to a ssl encrypted page that has an unkown certificate, I got a "page load error" message that looks like this: ------------------------------------snip------------------------ Secure Connection Failed blog.fefe.de uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate is unknown. (Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer) ------------------------------------snip------------------------ The paga contains two buttons on the cottom that say "Get me out of here" for not accessing the page any further and "Add Exception ..." to get the certificate and continue connecting tho the page. That worked fine until now, since some days I can click on "Add exception" and simply nothing happens, usually there appears a popup which offers me to donload the certificate and add it. This popup does not appear anymore. Howto repeat: Use firefox for some time and connect to a number of ssl enabled pages until you won't be able to add the certificates anymore -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
