Just to be sure, try the above command for different widgets from 0x0a to 0x12.
All these correspond to different I/O pin. (The headphone should be 0x0a,
according to the BIOS information, though.)
I'm not entirely sure whether it's a mismatch of box-cable in your case. But,
I've heard similar problems from other guys. They use a box designed for older
mobos with AC97 codec chip, which is slightly incompatible with the recent one
with HD-audio codec.
