https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=489214 Summary: Desktop wallpaper does not cover both screens and windows on uncovered side leave trails Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.1 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: X.Org AssignedTo: bnc-team-xorg-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: rrawson@ciscony.com QAContact: xorg-maintainer-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com Found By: --- Created an attachment (id=282301) --> (https://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=282301) screenshot User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.0.7) Gecko/2009022800 SUSE/3.0.7-1.1.6 Firefox/3.0.7 Installed OpenSuSE 11.1 64 bit on a Dell Latitude D830, set up for dual head mode (did this on two different monitors now). The right monitor ends up having the wallpaper cut off mid screen (tried larger wallpaper no different) and anything that draws on that part of the screen with no wallpaper doesn't get erasedm so if you drag a window over it, it leaves a trail behind, if you get a pop up indicating an update is to download, dismissing the window leaves it behind. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Install on D830 2.Set up dual head mode 3.Drag a window on the part of the desktop that didn't get wallpaper on it Actual Results: Saw trails left behind windows Expected Results: Windows should render and erase correctly. Wallpaper should be extended to cover both windows -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
