https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=487682 Summary: (?) system is frozen when using openvpn Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: bluedzins@wp.pl QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- (?) system is frozen when using openvpn It is unclear for me the reason for the crash so only what I see. Results: completely frozen system, cannot do anything except hard shutdown. The screen image is intact from the moment of freeze (so it is frozen as well). The only odd indicator is flashing leds of caps lock and scroll lock but NOT num lock. What is involved in crash: I run wifi connection and then I authorize connection using openvpn. Initially openvpn authorizes connection but later something wrong is going on and I get a lot of messages "cannot find route to host". After some such errors and trying to connect to net (using web browser) I get this crash. I am not sure but privoxy could be involved here to, because I newly installed it. However I experienced such crash before installing privoxy but I don't remember in what conditions I experienced that crash previously. Just in case I save yast logs and dmesg just after first crash. Please let me know if I should attach them.. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
