https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=481906 Summary: createNamedConfInclude reports errors where there aren't any Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Final Platform: i686 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: per.jessen@enidan.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-GB; rv:1.8.1.6) Gecko/20070730 SUSE/2.0.0.6-25 Firefox/2.0.0.6 /usr/share/bind/createNamedConfInclude is called as part of /etc/init.d/named, and for some obscure reason does a check on each included config file *individually*. This often means a pile of error-messages even if the overall bind config is absolutely fine. For instance, I define three ACLs in /etc/named.d/acl.conf which I use in /etc/named.d/view-nnnn.conf. When the view-nnn file is checked, the ACLs are not defined, and createNamedConfInclude spews out a ton of errors. Not very pretty.
