Hello Takashi Iwai
Many thanks for the tip that the script is named "setup-pulseaudio" (and not
"pulseaudio-setup").
I was able to successfully run the command "setup-pulseaudio --disable" - see
attachment for terminal messages.
The rpms "pulseaudio", "pulseaudio-module-*" and "pulseaudio-esound-compat" as
well as "libpulsecore4" can be removed on the condition that the rpm
"esound-daemon" is installed.
The libpulse0 cannot be removed as it is required by sonic-visulaise which in
turn is required by the vamp plugins which in turn is required by etc., etc..
But I guess the libpulse library can remain installed as the interruptions in
the sound output have stopped since I removed the other pulseaudio rpms.
Best wishes, Simon
