https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=480809 Summary: after updates there is no longer sound Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Sound AssignedTo: tiwai@novell.com ReportedBy: bluedzins@wp.pl QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Created an attachment (id=276236) --> (https://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=276236) y2logs.tgz after updates there is no longer sound I don't know where the quality of the updates went, but yesterday I lost flash in Konqueror, today I lost (thanks to updates) sound. I don't know what causes that -- newer kernel, newer alsa...? Anyway no sound for me. Btw. why alsa-oss is forced to install along with the updates if there is no dependency in my system for it? Update should mean updating installed software, and updating dependencies, no installing new stuff. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
