--- Comment #4 from Stephan Kleine
and the other for deleting the group and related volumes
IMHO it's not necessary to ask this if there are still any partitions assigned to that group / volumes (the less "Are you sure?", "Are you really sure?", "Are you really really sure?" the better ;D).
There are however also cases when i) I want to delete all partitions on a disk at once or ii) I want to delete single extended partition, and any of those contains arbitrary number of used partitions.
Could you please add the functionality to remove them all on one go as well? E.g. let us select the disk / extended partition in the tree on the left side and give us a "Delete" key with associated shortcut on the right side. Then simply make one popup "Are you sure to remove a1, a2 & a3?" instead of asking repeatedly for every modified entry since that would defeat the purpose. IMHO that thing is called "Expert partitioner" for a reason, so it should be safe to assume that people know what they are doing & it should make it as easy as possible for them to get their job done. Last but not least there's always the overview screen to review any changes before they get actually applied. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
