https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=471530 Summary: y2makeall has problems with environment variables Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: sh@novell.com ReportedBy: aschnell@novell.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com CC: mvidner@novell.com Found By: Development Sometimes people complain that y2makeall fails for storage the first time. I can verify that also for perl-bindings. Some debugging showed that this is caused by setting C/CXXFLAGS in the users environment (at least for me) and y2makeall using 'make -e': I have CXXFLAGS set to "-O2 -Wall". Generated Makefile includes "-std=gnu++0x -DHAVE_CXX0X" in CXXFLAGS. storage doesn't compile without "-std=gnu++0x -DHAVE_CXX0X" but these options are overwritten by the users CXXFLAGS due to the "-e" option for make. The easiest way might be to unset C/CXXFLAGS in y2makeall. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
