Then it gets stucked and needs 3h hours for further 5% until it stucks at 60% forever. While scanning amarok uses 100% cpu time. I searched the web and found several related postings and also a bug at debian.org: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=479068 It was closed as fixed and a patch was added (attached to this bug). I rebuilt the openSUSE package with this patch and everything works fine now, amarok needs ~15 minutes to scan my collection and uses only 10-20% cpu time.
