https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=471295 Summary: YaST unable to resize ntfs partitions in factory, can't find inst_do_resize client component Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: unspecified Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: erikj@tdkt.org QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- Created an attachment (id=269082) --> (https://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=269082) y2logs User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.0.5) Gecko/2008121300 SUSE/3.0.5-1.1 Firefox/3.0.5 I tried to do a quick install of factory in to a virtual machine image. This image was a 15gb disk, msdos label, single partition for ntfs. I was trying to test that 449183 was resolved. I posted my steps in setting up a virtual host to re-produce the problem in the problem description of 471279 if you're interested in the exact steps to re-produce this totally using qemu-kvm. Unfortunately, it appears factory is tipping over before the problem point in 449183 - it's failing to be able to re-size at all. Looking at the yast logs, it seems yast can't find inst_do_resize. I confirmed the factory repository does have yast2-storage in it. However, I also confirmed that the install environment has no /usr/share/YaST2/clients/inst_do_resize.ycp.
