I see, /dev/disk/by-id/dm-name-* was fixed, but /dev/disk/by-id/dm-uuid-* also
contains the name in that setup, and needs the missing string escape.
Apart from that, other rules and tools also fail with the whitespace names. I
don't think we support that, and the dm-tools should be fixed, to not allow
that. Isn't that what the dmraid maintainer already changed recently?
Hannes your kpartx rules can't handle whitespace names, and create bogus links:
udev_rules_get_name: link_priority=-100
run_program: 'kpartx_id 253 1 part1-DMRAID-isw_difhdgjajc_foo bar'
run_program: '/lib/udev/kpartx_id' (stderr) 'Device does not exist.'
run_program: '/lib/udev/kpartx_id' (stderr) 'Command failed'
run_program: '/lib/udev/kpartx_id' (stdout) 'DM_NAME='
run_program: '/lib/udev/kpartx_id' (stdout) 'DM_PART=1'
run_program: '/lib/udev/kpartx_id' (stdout) 'DM_TYPE=raid'
run_program: '/lib/udev/kpartx_id' returned with status 0
udev_rules_get_name: link_priority=50
udev_rules_get_name: add symlink 'disk/by-id/raid--part1'
