This might be a broken error handling path, i.e. the crash a result of

[drm:i915_initialize] *ERROR* Can not allocate hardware status page

An attempt to address this would be to add "dom0_mem=<size>" on the Xen command
line, with <size> replaced by a reasonable negative number: I'd start out at
-256M, and grow the value up to perhaps -1G (which would already be
unreasonably large).

If that doesn't help, attach the resulting /var/log/messages (fragment) again.
However, for that case make sure you add "kstack=128" to the kernel command
line first.
