The i/o errors are valid, but harmless. It's the system scanning the media to
see if it's mountable. DVDs work because they contain a file system. Music CDs
don't because you don't read them in the same way.
I see the same things on my system, but programs like grip work just fine.
Even so, I'll assign to Tejun as a low priority thing. If there's a way to
recognize that it's an audio CD and not print those messages, that would be
more user friendly.
