so do i have to decide which version of kde works with bluetooth, and which not?
Thats exactly the problem. You can not install both bluez version parallel.Only one bluetooth daemon can run at once.
thats sad. in opensuse11.0 this was possible. i had both KDEs installed and both worked, and both worked with bluetooth.
Maybe with some hacks and with renamed bluetooth libraries, to have the daemon find the right one, it would work ... anyhow. But this is definitely the worst constellation and also the best to get new unwanted bugs.
agree. i don't want this setup .
My referral: use KDE4 and kdebluetooth4. With the current KDE4 desktop, there is no really need to switch back to KDE3 ... like in KDE4.0 times.
maybe i have to give it a try. but until now there was no need for me to switch to kde4. and i don't know if this bluetooth problem is enough to switch to kde4. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
