Klaus, perhaps the CUPS testpage printing in the CUPS web-frontend must be adjusted? Michal, this is only for your information. I will implement it for yast2-printer for openSUSE 11.2. In openSUSE 11.2 we will have the PDF workflow for printing which introduces an unwanted side-effect for printer test pages which are real PostScript programs.
