This script can be used to adjust the speed of the card at boot in case your're
facing the same trouble as I did

Well, as described.
Make the script executable, put it into /etc/init.d and run insserv
setwlanspeed. From now on the speed of your card should be set during boot -
use at your own risk, I've got nothing to say but "worksforme"
