https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=463462 Summary: Use of old fstab data for partitioning not possible Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: x86 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.1 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: jerker.delsing@ltu.se QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: Community User Made an automatic update from 11.0 to 11.1. To many things did not work (a few examples, no pdf reader[kpdf, acroread, evince was installed in 11.0], K3b and other applciation does not find DVD) thus i decided for a total reinstall. The system has two discs sba 230G and sdb 37G. The installer does proposed sdb as the disk to install to. sda used LVM in my 11.0 installation. Then I tried to make use of fstab data from my 11.0 installation. At first this seams to be a success. When coming back to the installation overview the installer proposal of using only the sdb disk was showing up again. Redoing the fstab read did show up the same behavior when repeated. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
