https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=462467 Summary: inkscape fails to open .cdr files Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: x86 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.1 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: zrrr@bk.ru QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- With packages inkscape-extensions-fig-0.46-62.36 inkscape-extensions-extra-0.46-62.36 inkscape-extensions-dia-0.46-62.36 inkscape-extensions-gimp-0.46-62.36 inkscape-0.46-62.36 inkscape-extensions-skencil-0.46-62.36 inkscape-lang-0.46-62.36 installed I tried to open .cdr file (produced by CorelDRAW (probably X4) vector graphics editor). Window showed up with following text: "Inkscape has received additional data from the script executed. The script did not return an error, but this may indicate the results will not be as expected. /usr/share/inkscape/extensions/cdr2svg.sh: line 9: /tmp/tmp.fYwLDAkABP.svg: No such file or directory" After I closed this window, another window with text "Failed to load the requested file /home/eek/tmp/promo-online.cdr" was displayed. And indeed, file was not opened. I found that program 'uniconv', called from /usr/share/inkscape/extensions/cdr2svg.sh must be from package 'uniconvertor' (not in official repos) and not from 'yudit'. You can find 'uniconvertor' rpms for openSUSE 11.0 in BuildService (BS::home:/mrdocs or BS::home:/TI_Eugene), src.rpm from this repos builds fine on oS 11.1. After building and installing package (using --force rpm key to replace /usr/bin/uniconv) .cdr file was opened successfully. Also script /usr/share/inkscape/extensions/cdr2svg.sh leaves empty file named /tmp/tmp.XXXXXXXXXX (X are random characters) after every execution. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
