Dunno about you guys, but I just installed gnome bluetooth stuff and I'm
finally able to use my phone with my laptop over bluetooth. I had to install
nautilus to get obex browsing, but bluetooth-applet starts automatically when
my bluetooth radio is on. This is what I have installed:
rpm -qa | grep blue
bluez-alsa-4.19-1.5
libbluetooth3-4.19-1.5
bluez-4.19-1.5
kdebluetooth4-0.2-12.33
bluez-firmware-1.2-28.72
gnome-bluetooth-0.11.0-25.105
bluez-gnome-1.8-2.5
bluez-test-4.19-1.5
pulseaudio-module-bluetooth-0.9.12-9.5
bluez-compat-4.19-1.5
I also installed hci_usb, not sure if it matters or not since I haven't had a
chance to play around. This is on a new 11.1 install and all the installed
bluetooth stuff come from the official opensuse repos. So, bluetooth is working
fine, just not in kde4.
