https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=460428 Summary: KDE crashes when logging out Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Workspace AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: jux@4950.net QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Community User When logging out from KDE 4.1.3 (shipped with latest stable 11.1) the background gets black, a white mouse cursor is still visible and the system does not respond anymore. Only HW reset helps. This bug makes a openSuSE 11.1 installation useless 'cause the KDE Desktop does not (or just partially) store the settings - it looks like it crashes before. KDE falls back to default settings after reboot/reset and deletes e.g. account settings within Kontact, Kopete and so on. some settings/HW Details: * Dualscreen using fglrx 8.12 (64bit) on ATI Radeon 4850 * http://www.smolts.org/show?uuid=pub_ff08f63e-9c9a-4143-b46c-5372aa281e00 -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
