https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=445908 Summary: NFS timesout and causes freeze when shutting down Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Beta 5 Platform: i686 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Network AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: quentin.jackson@exclamation.co.nz QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Customer When I shut down the machine after either there has been an outage or if I have attempted to switch from Ethernet to Wireless it doesn't shutdown. When I press escape to see the messages I see "Shutting Down NFS Client Services: Cannot stat file /home/username/NFS/Video: Connection timed out. Of course the target system is running at this point. While there are arguably other issues as to the cause, I think this should still forcably shutdown eventually, however it just hangs at this point. It is not possible to switch to a terminal to end the process either as the CTRL-ALT-F1 works but it doesn't receive any keyboard input. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
