I'm having trouble reproducing this in a credible way.
The "--examine" output you provide confirms that the arrays have
the correct names:
Name : 0
Name : 1
This should cause them to be assembled as md0 and md1. If one had
a name like "home", it could well be assembled as "md127" but there
would also be a link from /dev/md/home to ../md127.
The only situation in which it will not use md0 for an array called '0'
is if md0 is already in use. However this does not appear to be the case.
If this happened you would get a link
/dev/md/0_0
pointing to ../md127. Do you have such a link?
Also, could you please attach you "/var/log/boot.msg" from the booted
system, and /etc/mdadm.conf if that file exists.
Thanks.
