I downloaded the GNOME 32-bit LiveCD iso to an OpenSuSE 11.0 installation. The
iso md5sum checked. I burned it and ran it, and the md5sum checked again
properly. I notice that the check showed "0 pad" before the checksum. I think
this was the problem on the Nero 8 burn on the Beta 3 disc, so I think this has
been resolved. If I get a chance to re-burn the iso using Nero, I will try it,
but that might not happen.
The Installer got further this time, but crashed (probably after the "Welcome"
stage ended and going into whatever is next). It left "y2base" and "yast2"
processes, which were killable. I have looked through the current posted bugs
and this does not seem to be reported yet. Later, I will probably open a new
bug for it and close this one (to avoid clutter).
I have not tried changing resolution yet.
