Huh, I don't believe you. If you only use the 64bit perl, why should
-Duse64bitint make a difference at all?
Either you want the IV to store a 64bit value (which was required to store
address) or not.
Here's the data from x86_64
intsize=4, longsize=8, ptrsize=8, doublesize=8, byteorder=12345678
d_longlong=define, longlongsize=8, d_longdbl=define, longdblsize=16
ivtype='long', ivsize=8, nvtype='double', nvsize=8, Off_t='off_t'
Note the 'ivsize=8'.
As long as sizeof(long) returns 4 on ppc64, you'll need the "-Duse64bitint".
Please fix SWIG instead!
