The same configuration works on 10.2/10.3 and 11.1Beta2. Description: As soon as /etc/sudoers is adjusted to comment out/remove these two options: # In the default (unconfigured) configuration, sudo asks for the root password. # This allows use of an ordinary user account for administration of a freshly # installed system. When configuring sudo, delete the two # following lines: # Defaults targetpw # ask for the password of the target user i.e. root # ALL ALL=(ALL) ALL # WARNING! Only use this together with 'Defaults targetpw'! using sudo results in the following error: ~> sudo ls sudo: parse error in /etc/sudoers near line -1 Affected version: sudo-1.6.9p15-13.1 Working version: sudo-1.6.9p2-23.2 Thanks! -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
