https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=425075 Summary: Keyboard layout switching strange behavior in Gnome with Autologin GDM Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Final Platform: x86 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.0 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: zbycho@seznam.cz QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- If I have disabled autologin in GDM everything works OK. But If you: enable autologin, set 2 or more keyboard layouts in Gnome (or set them in Xorg.conf), you will see some strange behavior during switching layouts. Example: 1) Switched to first layout (CZE): pingwin@toaster1:~> ps -a PID TTY TIME CMD 7729 pts/0 00:00:00 ps 2) Switched to second layout (USA) pingwin@toaster1:~> ps -a bash: ps -a: command not found Every command which consists space between command and its argument is not executed. 3) Change something in "Keyboard Indicator 2.22.1" (not make a difference what) and problem will not occur in current session Some other hints: https://bugs.launchpad.net/xorg-server/+bug/228196 http://blogs.gnome.org/sudaltsov/2008/05/27/keyboard-is-not-configured-in-gn... -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
