https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=424430 Summary: Xen kernel freezes machine at booting Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.0 Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: Xen AssignedTo: cgriffin@novell.com ReportedBy: tarnold@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de CC: mmrazik@novell.com Found By: --- Found on FSC Primergy rx200G4 and rx300S4. We installed kernel-xen and during boot machine freezes completely. Here are some relevant parts of the report I got for reproduction:
The kernel stops to boot up when the acpi tries to assign the IRQ to PCI devices.
After output the following message to console, ACPI:PCI Interrupt 0000:1a:00.0[A] -> GSI 17 (level ,low) -> IRQ17 the kernel stops going on.
I investigate this and found this message is output by drivers/acpi/pci_irq.c#acpi_pci_irq_enable()
Output from hwinfo will be attached. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
