https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=421073 Summary: autoyast merges scripts Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Final Platform: x86 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.0 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: AutoYaST AssignedTo: ug@novell.com ReportedBy: lukasz.stelmach@iem.pw.edu.pl QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Autoyast merges <script/> nodes. If there are two files f1.xml and f2.xml with such contents: <scripts><pre-scripts><script> <filename>f1.sh</filename> <source>echo F1</source> </script></prescript></scripts> <scripts><pre-scripts><script> <filename>f2.sh</filename> <source>echo F2</source> </script></prescript></scripts> One gets <scripts><pre-scripts><script> <filename>f1.sh</filename> <source>echo F1</source> </script></prescript></scripts> or f2.sh depending on the order of merging instead of <scripts><pre-scripts><script> <filename>f1.sh</filename> <source>echo F1</source> </script><script> <filename>f1.sh</filename> <source>echo F1</source> </script></prescript></scripts> IMHO there is no situation in which merging of scripts makes any sense. Especially when we can't control the order of merging. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
