https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=416172 Summary: GRUB error - /boot/grub/device.map:2: error: Duplicated entry found Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Alpha 1 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: per.jessen@enidan.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- Installation over ssh+http. Hardware: single-processor AMD, 1Gb memory, dual-SATA in RAID1. This time I got a different GRUB error - "/boot/grub/device.map:2: error: Duplicated entry found". I then proceeded to retry the grub configuration. I noticed something odd (I'm not familiar with grub, so it could be normal): 1. the order of the sections is "FailSafe" followed by "openSUSE 11.0.42" - I would have expected the other way. 2. there is no section marked default. I changed the order of the sections, and marked "openSUSE 11.0.42" as default, but I got same error again. The YaST logs are in attachment 232589. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
