On a new install, I was not able to get YaST to save my nameserver IP address
in the Network Services, Network Devices module. If I manually added a
nameserver in resolv.conf it was blanked out on reboot.
The error is documented in the openSuse forums here:
http://forums.opensuse.org/install-boot-login/391329-cant-add-nameserver-new...
Other users have documented the problem as well.
