In sd.c line 1101 there is a quirk for USB devices that tests for asc = 0x28
and sense_key = UNIT_ATTENTION (did you print the sense_key out somewhere in
your debugging?) and adds some time for the firmware to boot up on the device.
But, it likely can't reach this code since the sense_valid flag is not set. I
think checking sense_valid is bogus when inspecting asc and asq, but I will CC
Tejun and get his opinion.
Tobias: any chance you can plug a SD card into the device and see if it acts
differently?
