https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=400784 Summary: Make Arora default browser Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Factory Platform: All URL: http://arora-browser.org/ OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: P5 - None Component: X11 Applications AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: kamikazow@web.de QAContact: sndirsch@novell.com Found By: --- Arora is a new WebKit-based web browser. It's lightweight and integrates well into KDE, GNOME, and XFCE (especially with QGtkStyle). It's based on Qt 4 and since Qt 4 is part of openSUSE anyway, Arora seems the natural coice to me. It currently lacks support for plugins (Flash) and password saving. Password saving can be achieved by developing an Arora extension to use KDE Wallet and GNOME Keychain. That would improve the DE integration beyond what Firefox is offering. Plugin support may require Qt 4.5 and thus maybe this request may not be fullfillable since openSUSE 11.2. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
