Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: RC 1 Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.0 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Hotplug AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: novell@rvp.endjunk.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Beta-Customer I have a small usb dongle that came with my microsd card (kingston) which is supposed to make it a "normal" flash drive. Inserting the "drive" results in the following entry under dmesg: usb 2-9: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 5 usb 2-9: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice usb 2-9: New USB device found, idVendor=090c, idProduct=6000 usb 2-9: New USB device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=3 usb 2-9: Product: USB2.0 Card Reader usb 2-9: Manufacturer: Generic , . usb 2-9: SerialNumber: 12345678901234567890 however the system does not auto mount the microsd as it did on 10.3. Looking in /etc/fstab I note that the following entry is missing: usbfs /proc/bus/usbfs usbfs 0 0 I did a search on "usbfs fstab" for opensuse 11 and did not see this previously reported although I would have thought someone would have hit it prior to now. Sorry if it's a dupe. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
