https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=398640 Summary: Kmail losing POP3 history after hibernate Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: 32bit OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: admin@different-perspectives.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Customer Occasionally KMail forgets after a hibernate what it had previously downloaded (I believe this is a date & time). This causes Kmail to get all of the messages from the server again. That is 10 days content (about 2,500 emails). A superior pain. I believe this may be happening when the box hibernates (through idleness) in the middle of a kmail email get, which can't be continued when the box wakes from hibernation. It is very intermittent (about every 20-60 days). What can I do to prevent hibernate while kmail is getting mails, or to terminate the mail get in an orderly fashion.
