Attempting to remove alsa-plugins-pulse results in:
Downgrading packages (1):
pulseaudio-0.9.10-0.pm.1@x86_64
Installing packages (1):
libpulse-browse0-0.9.10-0.pm.1@x86_64
Removing packages (1):
alsa-plugins-pulse-1.0.16-52@x86_64
Since I was unsure if this would just recreate the issue I moved the
/etc/asound-pulse.conf to /etc/asound-pulse.conf.save and so far I have been
unable to recreate the sound "lock". I've played music for last 15 minutes or
so..randomly stopping and pausing it or changing song in amarok...I've opened
and closed windows and minimized them on the os so system sounds would play to
see if they caused a conflict and so far looks good.
