https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=397975 Summary: System timer resolution is too low Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: RC 3 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Kernel AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: laney@gmx.ch QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Beta-Customer System timer resolution is too low Rosegarden was unable to find a high-resolution timing source for MIDI performance. This may mean you are using a linux system with the kernel timer resolution set too low. Please contact your Linux distributor for more information. Instead, the 0.004, (ie. 4000 microseconds), means we have a 250Hz kernel timer. (This is important for the kernel-rt and the use in a music production environment with audio priority) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
