I might also add that an additional bug caused by the difference between dhcpcd
and dhclient is that if during an nfs install you choose to configure your
ethernet card during the install to use NetworkManager (and thus dhclient) --
the rest of the install will fail due to the loss of the nfs mount. Apparently
the install system used dhcpcd and gets the new IP address assigned to the
DUID, and after configuring to use NetworkManager the IP address returns to the
old IP address assigned to the MAC address -- and surprise: no nfs mount
anymore. The solution is so easy (wait until after the install to switch to
using NetworkManager) that I did not bother to file a bug report for it. (But
I do vaguely recall seeing a couple of bugs about loss of network connection
during install that might be related to it.)
