https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=396757 Summary: Thinkpad X60 tablet function not reliable Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: i686 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: X.Org AssignedTo: sndirsch@novell.com ReportedBy: carlos.lange@ualberta.ca QAContact: xorg-maintainer-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com CC: dkukawka@novell.com Found By: --- After reboot or suspend (to RAM or disk) the tablet pen stops working. A restart of X often solves the problem. Checking setserial shows that the Wacom tablet remains associated with ttyS0: # setserial -g /dev/ttyS* /dev/ttyS0, UART: undefined, Port: 0x0200, IRQ: 5 /dev/ttyS1, UART: unknown, Port: 0x02f8, IRQ: 3 /dev/ttyS2, UART: unknown, Port: 0x03e8, IRQ: 4 /dev/ttyS3, UART: unknown, Port: 0x02e8, IRQ: 3 /dev/ttyS4: No such device or address /dev/ttyS5: No such device or address /dev/ttyS6: No such device or address /dev/ttyS7: No such device or address even when the pen is not recognized. I tested the pen with: wacdump -f tpc /dev/ttyS0 and the pen seems to be recognized only intermittently (although outside of wacdump it is never recognized, while in the bad state). At one time, just running wacdump solved the problem, but only until the next wacdump...
